THE MOD EVENT

The Mod Event at Revival in Toronto celebrated the icons that defined the decade. Complete with Vespa scooters, go-go dancers, a mod fashion show sponsored by Yorkdale and www.vintagecouture.com, and featuring Mark Holmes and Bobi Guy of The Mod Club spinning 60s pop and soul classics, The Mod Event took guests through a tour of the candy-coloured Carnaby Street in London, circa 1966. Elite models and Mod Club kids strutted their stuff while dressed to the nines in gorgeous, groovy mod gear and sporting mod hair and make-up by Vidal Sasson and MAC cosmetics. Over 500 people attended the benefit, which was covered by Breakfast Television, CBC Canada Now, Fashion Television and The Toronto Star and raised over $25,000 for Rethink.
