On June 19th the fleet came to town to support the girls and buoy-o-buoy did we have fun! Thanks to all of the strapping sailors and saucy ladies in patent pumps who came out to help raise funds for Rethink. More than $90,000 was raised in support of Rethink's innovative breast cancer research, education and support programs. Click here to see the naughty nautical photo gallery!
On July 6th, 2008 almost 700 people participated in the 5th Annual Grouse Mountain Seek The Peak Relay. Over $50,000 was raised this year alone, making the total funds raised over the past five years, more than $160,000 for Rethink Breast Cancer. The 16 km course starts on the beach at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver, winds its way through North Vancouver, then heads up the legendary Grouse Grind to the Peak of Vancouver.
