On May 1st, 2006 Joff Summerfield set off from England on his 3rd attempt to circle the globe on a penny farthing bicycle. Since that date he has covered 14,430 miles (23,223 kilometers), crossed 19 countries and plans to break the 20,000 mile mark before returning home. In March 2008 Joff will be leaving San Francisco to cross the U.S. and will then make his way up to Canada to conquer the third continent on his around-the-world adventure. Joff will be raising awareness and funds for Rethink along the way, in honour of his cousin who lives in Toronto and is currently battling breast cancer. The Healthy Breast Yoga Program is designed to educate and provide support to women interested in maintaining or improving the health of their breasts. The classes are led by certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and breast cancer survivor Lee Majewski. She has studied abroad with Kundalini Yoga Master over the last 4 years and recently underwent treatment for breast cancer.
